SEATTLE — For the first time this season, A’s catcher Bruce Maxwell will get to play with a little bit more of a clear mind.
Maxwell found somewhat of a resolution Friday morning to his case stemming from an incident las October in which he pulled a gun on a food delivery person, reaching a plea agreement with the state of Arizona.
“I’m very happy. It’s been dragging out as long as it possibly could,” Maxwell said. “It’s a good relief for me and probably a good relief for this organization. It’s something I can put behind me, own up to it, and progress as a person.
