OAKLAND — With rosters expanding Sept. 1, the A’s are expected to call up more than a few of their top prospects. One in particular presents an intriguing scenario.
Renato Nunez has been crushing the ball at Triple-A Nashville, currently leading the Pacific Coast League with 32 home runs. While the A’s are attracted by the power numbers Nunez has been putting up, one question remains.
Where will he play?
The 23-year-old Venezuelan-born player has been a third baseman for most of his career, but the organization played him in left field for 44 games at Nashville this season.
