Fans looking for one of the best entertainment values in pro sports might want to hurry. The A’s amazing $19.99 monthly pass deal will end Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The team introduced the deal Thursday, and the response has been largely enthusiastic, although numerous season-ticket holders have expressed concerns about their ability to set their unused tickets on the secondary market with the introduction of such a cost-effective monthly pass.
The monthly pass, which is good from June through September, can be purchased via MLB’s Ballpark app. The pass does not guarantee a seat but when one is available, the location will be delivered to passholders digitally an hour or two before the game, and upgrades are allowed when possible.
