The A’s could get their power-hitting DH back as soon as Thursday, according to manager Bob Melvin.
Davis, who is out with a right groin strain, came out of his Sunday batting-practice session well, and he did a workout on the field before Monday’s game.
“He did running and agility stuff, he looks great,” Melvin said. “I’m encouraged about him coming off on Thursday.
