The baseball gods taketh, and then the baseball gods taketh away a whole bunch more. Sean Manaea has been pulled from his start Wednesday against the Angels after only two innings due to left shoulder tightness.
Manaea looked dull from the get-go, in particular his fastball which lacked its usual zip.
Manaea barely touched 90 mph and only twice last inning; that much of a velocity dip must have set off alarm bells.
