The Giants won't be seeing Frankie Montas on the mound Friday night in the first game of the Battle of the Bay against the A's.
Oakland announced Friday afternoon that Montas had been scratched from starting Friday night's game, and southpaw Jesús Luzardo will take his place on the mound at Oracle Park.

Montas last pitched on Sunday vs. the Houston Astros, throwing seven shutout innings with five strikeouts as Oakland completed the sweep.
