Matt Chapman knows what it’s like to lose in the big leagues. Join the club.
The highly touted prospect returned to the A’s lineup Monday night in time for their series-opening 7-2 loss to the White Sox that drew 40,019, the largest Coliseum baseball crowd since a 2005 Yankees game.

It was Chapman’s fifth big-league game.
