A’s find come-from-behind wins aren’t as easy as all that

SEATTLE – The A’s tried to turn the script of this road trip only to find that coming from behind isn’t as easy as the Rangers made it look.

Texas rallied in the late going three times to pull out wins over Oakland in Arlington over the weekend. But the A’s found themselves just short of a comeback Monday night in Seattle, taking a 6-5 loss to the Mariners.

Down 6-3 in the ninth, the A’s got four walks against Mariner closer Edwin Diaz to get one run, the Khris Davis got an infield out off reliever Tony Zych to cut the lead to 6-5.
