A’s Fall To Diamondbacks 7-2

The A’s dropped the middle game of their three-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks, falling 7-2 to set up the pivotal runner match tomorrow afternoon.

Right-hander JT Ginn got the start tonight, his third since rejoining the rotation. His first two were very successful as he allowed just one run in both outings combined so he was hoping to continue his little roll he’s got going.

There would be no shutout today as the second batter of the game took Ginn deep to give Arizona a quick lead. From there he settled in, walking just a couple of hitters while allowing no more hits.
