SEATTLE -- A's lefty Sean Manaea remained on cruise control against the Mariners on Sunday afternoon, turning in yet another strong performance in a month brimming with them.
Manaea worked seven innings opposite Seattle ace Felix Hernandez, propelling the A's to a 2-1 victory at Safeco Field with help from a two-run homer from Jed Lowrie in the first inning.
Oakland, which dropped the first two games of this series, finished its road trip 3-5.
Manaea allowed two hits in chilly temps, his lone blemish a solo home run to Taylor Motter in the fifth.
