OAKLAND — Khris Davis supplied all the offense Sunday as the Athletics beat the Boston Red Sox 4-1 and completed what they hope is a homestand so successful it can jump-start their season.
Davis drove in all four runs with two outs, grounding a single to left in the first inning to bring home one run and then launching a three-run home run off David Price (1-1) in the bottom of the eighth to break up a 1-1 game before a crowd of 29,804.
