The A’s announced Tuesday that manager Bob Melvin’s entire coaching staff will return for the 2019 season. Teams as successful as the A’s typically lose a coach, but not this time.
Melvin, a finalist for 2018 American League Manager of the Year, again will lead a staff that includes hitting coach Darren Bush, pitching coach Scott Emerson, base coaches Al Pedrique and Matt Williams, bench coach Ryan Christenson, bullpen coach Marcus Jensen and quality control coach Mark Kotsay.
