The A’s will be offering free admission to all fans for a game next season, and now they’ve announced how it will work.
The club announced Wednesday that fans wanting to attend the April 17 game against the Chicago White Sox at the Oakland Coliseum can register at athletics.com/50 for free tickets starting Jan. 10 at 8 a.m. Season ticket holders will automatically have tickets for the game loaded to their account and will not need to sign up.
The game on April 17 will mark the 50th anniversary of the club’s first game in Oakland.
“We are extremely excited to offer this gift to the city as we celebrate 50 years in Oakland,” said A’s President Dave Kaval.
