LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — As the winter meetings drew to a close, the A’s finally got the right-handed-hitting outfielder they had targeted.
Oakland landed Stanford alum Stephen Piscotty from St. Louis in exchange for minor-leaguers Yairo Muñoz (an infielder/outfielder) and Max Schrock (a second baseman), a deal first reported by The Chronicle on Wednesday.
Piscotty is from Pleasanton and went to Amador Valley High.
