A's 3 homers hand Yanks 5th straight loss

Jesse Hahn labored through five innings but earned the win, with only a two-run second against him. He gave up three hits and three walks while striking out six on 105 pitches.

The A's bullpen finished the day strong behind Hahn, only allowing two baserunners.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Avoiding early trouble: Hahn found himself in a tight situation in the first after issuing back-to-back walks with one out. But the right-hander buckled down, striking out Starlin Castro looking and getting Didi Gregorius to ground out back to the mound.
