Another strong night for Ramón Laureano has him on aim to make history

There's a guy named Ramón Laureano roaming the outfield for the A's. He's also dominating at the plate.

If you haven't heard of him, well it's time to listen up.

Heading into Friday night's game, Laureano led the Major League with three assists. He also had 12 assists in 57 games as an outfielder dating back to his big league debut. That's more than twice as many as any other Major League outfielder.

Despite the 3-2 loss to the Astros, Laureano is on his way to making history.

As of this article being published, the 24-year-old aims to become the first outfielder with 20 home runs, 20 stolen bases, and 20 outfield assists since Alfonso Soriano did it in 2006.
