One day after pitching 5.2 innings against the A's, Angels starter Jered Weaver was placed on the disabled list with left hip inflammation.
The Angels made the announcement about two hours before Sunday's game.
Weaver took the loss Saturday as he gave up four earned runs and six hits in the A's 4-1 victory.
