ANAHEIM -- The Angels' struggling offense finally came to life Wednesday night and used a three-run second and a four-run seventh to fuel an 8-5 win and clinch a series victory against the A's at Angel Stadium.
The Halos entered Wednesday batting just .195 over their last 14 games, but they received offensive contributions from their entire lineup, with Cameron Maybin, Kole Calhoun, Albert Pujols and Jefry Marte all delivering multi-hit efforts. They have now won three consecutive games, improving to 11-12. Maybin had three RBIs.
