Dustin Fowler’s knee injury in Chicago last year was so devastating that the A’s outfielder has filed a lawsuit against the White Sox and the agency that runs their stadium.
Fowler’s outlook for 2018, though, is much brighter. Friday at the team’s pre-FanFest media session, the 23-year-old said he is essentially all systems go and he will be playing in spring training games February 26.
“Everything is coming along the way it should be,” said Fowler, who has an excellent shot to be the A’s Opening Day center fielder if completely healthy. “I’m pretty happy with the way everything is going.
