OAKLAND – To say that Adam Rosales doesn’t lead off much is an understatement.
With the A’s a little strapped against Seattle lefty starter Ariel Miranda, Rosales was Oakland’s leadoff hitter Saturday for the first time since 2013.
When asked, he thought the last time he’d done it was 2012, but what’s a year or so when going over the highlights of your career.
Rosales came into Saturday with five games as a leadoff hitter on his resume. All five were in 2013, and one stands out.
“The last time I remember leading off was 2012 in Yankee Stadium,” Rosales said Saturday morning.
