John Shannon is not a big name for the Irish, which is EXACTLY what you want out of your long snapper. John was widely considered one of the top long snapper prospects in the class of 2016, and came to the Irish from Chicago Catholic League powerhouse Loyola Academy (shoutout CCL/my alma matter the Fenwick Friars).
