The first installment of the College Football Playoff rankings by the selection committee was released on Tuesday night, and while some teams fell where everyone thought they would, others had some problems with some of the rankings. Notre Dame came in at No. 10, sneaking into the CFP if it started today, and that has some people really angry.
The Fighting Irish lost their first two games of the season, one to Miami, who came in ranked No. 18, and Texas A&M, who came in ranked at No. 3. Here is the thing, though, Notre Dame lost both of those games by a total of four points, and it was at the beginning of the season.
