According to Kendall Rogers of d1baseball.com, Notre Dame Fighting Irish assistant coach and co-recruiting coordinator Jesse Woods is set to leave the baseball program to become the new head coach at Division III Colby College in Maine.

Woods was hired in 2010 as an Irish assistant and spent the three years prior to that at Boston College where he worked with current Irish head coach Mik Aoki. Woods also spent three years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Wheaton College, before making the move to the Eagles.

During his time at Notre Dame, Woods helped to bring in five recruiting classes that were ranked in the top 45 nationally.
