It was just announced that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Women’s Basketball team is adding another graduate transfer from the Stanford Cardinal. Maya Dodson will transfer to Notre Dame and begin playing for Niele Ivey’s squad next season.
Dodson opted out of this 2020-21 season for her senior year. She has been plagued with injuries throughout her career, especially in her sophomore and junior seasons. Next season, she will add a presence inside as a forward that the Irish always like to have. Currently, the Irish have Sam Brunelle and Maddy Westbeld as forwards.
