The Notre Dame Women’s Basketball team picked up its first win of the season on Friday afternoon with a 103-58 win over Harvard. Arike Ogunbowale lead the way with 30 points and Jessica Shepard added 28 more. Brianna Turner had 11 points in her return after sitting out last season due to a knee injury.
Jordan Nixon shows promise at the point
Senior Marina Mabrey missed a game for the first time in her career due to injury. In her place, freshman Jordan Nixon started at the point. Nixon had four points and three assists in her debut for the Irish.
