The Irish began their quest for the ACC Championship on Friday afternoon in Greensboro, NC. It was a rematch for Notre Dame as they were facing the University of North Carolina, one of only two teams in the ACC to beat them this season. Unlike the first matchup, Jackie Young was in the lineup and the turnovers were limited in the 95-77 win. Arike Ogunbowale led all scorers with 28 points. Brianna Turner added 24 points and 10 rebounds to help the Irish advance.
