We have entered the final stretch of what has been a rough regular season for the Notre Dame women’s basketball team.
Sunday’s game featured two teams in the basement of the ACC standings. Pittsburgh entered the game in sole possession of last place with only one conference win, and Notre Dame entered the game tied for the third-worst record in the ACC.
These two teams met not too long ago when the Irish played the Panthers in Pittsburgh back on January 2nd. Notre Dame won that game by a final score of 60-52.
