Notre Dame football is rolling into Week 6 knowing that it needs to win out in order to make the College Football Playoffs. So far, so good in that regard as they've won their last two after starting the season 0-2.
This week, they'll play a team they've never played before for the season straight week. It worked out quite well for them against the Arkansas Razorbacks. The 56-13 win was so bad for the SEC school that it fired head coach Sam Pittman and named infamous former HC Bobby Petrino as his replacement.
