After rumors of injuries started circulating around the Notre Dame football team earlier this week, the school confirmed that two players are out for the rest of the season. The unfortunate talk around Kedren Young and Kevin Bauman turned out to be true.
On Saturday, Notre Dame officially announced that Young and Bauman both suffered knee injuries. Young sustained a right knee anterior cruciate ligament tear, and Bauman had a left knee articular cartilage injury during preseason practice. The school further announced that both players have to undergo surgery and will miss the rest of the season.
