Folks, we are smack dab in the middle of January and your Notre Dame Fighting Irish are STILL looking for their first ACC win of the basketball season. It’s been tough sledding so far for this young and inconsistent squad, with a number of ranked matchups to start the ACC slate along with a road trip to the always-tough North Carolina Tar Heels.
The Irish have talent on the roster, with the likes of Nate Laszewski and Juwan Durham showing flashes of brilliance, and have been competitive even in most of their losses, but have yet to find the consistency or rhythm necessary to win against in-conference competition.
