The Notre Dame football team has its 2026 class locked down and is now focusing on the 2027 cycle. Chief among those targets is Amarri Irvin, a 4-star linebacker out of IMG Academy in Miami, Florida.

The prospect's father is Sedrick Irvin Sr., a former Michigan State running back who spent a few years in the NFL in the early 2000s. So, check the NFL legacy box. Meanwhile, his older brother is Sedrick Irvin Jr., who was committed to the Irish in the 2023 class. The elder Irvin ended up going to Stanford, where he still plays, but it appears there's still some connection between the family and the Blue and Gold.
