Notre Dame Hockey Player Bo Brauer Signs Professional Contract

Former Notre Dame hockey player Bo Brauer today signed a professional contract to continue his career with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL. Brauer becomes the sixth Irish player and fourth senior to sign a professional contract after Notre Dame’s loss in the national championship game.

Brauer scored 5 goals this season for the Irish, including one against Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game, and finished his four year career with 8 goals and 5 assists. The 2017-18 Charles ‘Lefty’ Smith Coaches Award Winner joins former Irish player Patrick Gaul (‘12) with the Stingrays, an affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals.
