First Period
After an early offensive burst from the visitors, Augustana’s Ben Troumbly chalked up the first goal of the night. Minutes later, a slashing call on Notre Dame’s Zach Plucinski provided the Vikings their first power play of the night, but Augustana failed to capitalize. With about six minutes left in the first, Notre Dame’s Michael Mastrodomenico found the back of the net to tie it up.
