After Friday’s 2-1 OT win against the Michigan Tech Huskies, The Notre Dame Fighting Irish notched their third straight win of the season Saturday against the Northern Michigan University Wildcats in Marquette, Michigan.
First Period
The first period was all about the Irish. Landon Slaggert scored the first goal of the game about two minutes into play. Trevor Janicke later doubled the Notre Dame score with assists from his brother Justin and Max Ellis. Notre Dame’s Ryder Rolston acted on the momentum and found the back of the net as the period drew to a close.
