Per an Irish Illustrated report by Tom Loy, Notre Dame Fighting Irish wide receiver Michael Young will transfer — effective immediately.
Young was someone that really looked to be a break out player for the Irish in fall camp, but a broken collarbone set him back and his return has made very little impact on the offense.
Young will graduate from Notre Dame early in 2020, and will use the grad transfer rule to play elsewhere with 2 years of eligibility remaining. The Louisiana product should be a hot commodity on the transfer portal market thanks to his athleticism and speed.
