As we continue to see in the college football playoff every year — recruiting is king and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish need to do a better job on the trail. It’s not that they’re doing a bad job, but to actually compete with the like of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Ohio State Buckeyes (both of which are on future Notre Dame schedules) the Irish just need more.
A piece of that “more” could come on Monday when 2022 4-Star defensive end Tyson Ford announces his commitment. By Thursday this past week, a lot of analysts believed that Ford was headed to Norman to play for the Oklahoma Sooners.
