The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have had a tough time out on the recruiting trail for the 2021 class, but on Monday they received a verbal commitment from 3-Star offensive tackle Joe Alt to help the class out.
The 6’7” 257 pounder from Minneapolis, Minnesota chose the Irish over the Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Missouri Tigers and others. Alt is the son of John Alt, the former Iowa Hawkeye and Kansas City Chiefs lineman.
High school tight end who is very lean but has the frame, pedigree and skill set to grow into a college offensive tackle.
