Troy Pride, a rising senior on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, recently ran a 4.32 second 40-yard dash, according to his teammate.
To put that into context:
If Pride ran that same exact speed at this year’s NFL Combine, the Greer, S.C. product would have finished third among all cornerbacks and fifth among all players.
We neither independently verified Braden Lenzy’s assertion, nor did we ask how it was timed, which can create minor variations in the end result.
Regardless, Pride is most likely the fastest guy on campus, although he’s going to get tested.
