Notre Dame Football: Irish center Jarrett Patterson out for remainder of the year

According to a report from Tim Prister on Irish Illustrated, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be without Jarrett Patterson for the rest of the year. The starting center suffered a foot injury against the Boston College Eagles that will require surgery. The recovery time from the surgery will take him past spring ball as well.

According to a lot of observers, Notre Dame’s offensive line is the best in college football right now. From tackle to tackle, the Irish had experience, talent and an ass-kicker.
