Notre Dame Football: Defensive End NaNa Osafo-Mensah underwent knee surgery

We definitely know that it’s fall camp for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish because the injury bug has hit once again. On Friday, Notre Dame announced that sophomore defensive end NaNa Osafo-Mensah underwent knee surgery for a torn lateral meniscus.

Notre Dame also states that Osafo-Mensah will likely miss the entire 2020 regular season.

The Irish proved that they have recruited and developed quality defensive end depth last year when both Julian Okwara and Daelin Hayes had season ending injuries.
