Notre Dame Football: Brian Kelly talks Cole Kmet’s status, Georgia’s depth, Daelin Hayes and more to kick off Georgia Week

After drubbing New Mexico by 52 points on a beautiful Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium this past weekend, the Irish (2-0) set their sights on the biggest game on their 2019 schedule and one of the biggest games in this year’s college football campaign.

That’s right. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will lock horns with noted powerhouse Bowling Green on Saturday night.

I’m kidding. Of course I’m kidding. It’s Georgia Bulldogs Week, friends.

The last time the Irish faced off against Kirby Smart and the No. 3 Dawgs (2-0), the visitors hounded the host Irish to just 55 yards on 37 total rushing attempts, capitalizing on a late field goal and a fumble recovery on a sack of Brandon Wimbush to escape South Bend with a 20-19 victory, one that vaulted them into the College Football Playoff hunt.
