Notre Dame alumnus Tom Mendoza is a big benefactor for the school—the University’s business school is named after him—and a huge Fighting Irish football fan. He recently spent time with head coach Brian Kelly, who, according to Mendoza, has high expectations about this year’s team.
Spent quite a bit of time with Brian Kelly two nights ago. It is clear he believes this is his best team. Loves the leadership, depth.

Notre Dame went 12-0 and reached the BCS National Championship before losing handily to Alabama in 2012.
