Since beating the Notre Dame football team in the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, the Alabama Crimson Tide has changed.

When Notre Dame took the field in the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, they shared a stylistic similarity with their opponent, Alabama. Both teams had proud defenses, and those units keyed their rise to the title game.
