The Notre Dame Fighting Irish scored 33 unanswered points to turn an early 7-6 Boston College Eagles advantage into a 40-7 laugher Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium.
Ian Book was 26-for-40 for 239 yards and three touchdowns and zero turnovers. He was also the team’s leading rusher with 66 yards.
Cole Kmet, Chris Finke and Chase Claypool each had touchdowns and Braden Lenzy scored on his only touch of the game — a 61-yard end around that put the game out of reach.
