Notre Dame is coming off a bye week in Week 2 for their Week 3 matchup against No. 16 Texas A&M. The Fighting Irish are hoping to look better than they did in their season opener against Miami, where they received their first loss.
To start the game against the Aggies, Notre Dame had an amazing first defensive stand, forcing Texas A&M to punt. Then Loghan Thomas comes through unblocked to block the punt and help put it in the hands of Tae Johnson, who runs it to the end zone for a touchdown.
This had the crowd in South Bend going wild as the Fighting Irish took an early lead without their offense even touching the field.
