It’s zero surprise that Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans are bullish on their team after a 5-1 start.
What may be mildly astonishing is that, in a new FanPulse poll, Irish supporters collectively place their team two spots higher than the Georgia Bulldogs, who beat the Irish Sept. 21.
The weekly snapshot also reported that 92.4 percent fans who self-identified as rooting for Notre Dame are confident in the direction of their team. That’s down 2.8 percent from the Oct. 6 poll. (You can sign up here to add your opinion starting Saturday evening.
