Notre Dame struggled to put the ball in the basket in Sunday’s loss against Clemson. Shooting 31.3 percent from the field along with shooting 11.8 percent from behind the arc is no recipe for a victory.
Clemson built such a strong lead to end the 1st half it made it an endless uphill battle for the Irish. Going into half the score was 35-17. Clemson outscored the Irish 23 to 6 in the 2nd quarter, which ultimately was the biggest setback for Notre Dame.
The Irish played a much better 2nd half. Despite being down by a massive amount of points, Notre Dame never quit.
