The Notre Dame basketball team took down the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday afternoon to notch their first winning streak in ACC play during the 2019-20 college basketball season.
The Irish were led in scoring by John Mooney’s 28 points. On his way to that total, he passed the 1,000-point mark for his collegiate career. He also grabbed 10 rebounds to pace Mike Brey’s club in that category.
T.J. Gibbs had a solid afternoon as well, scoring 19. Rex Pflueger hit also double digits in scoring with 13 points. It was only the fourth time he has hit double digits his season, and the first time he has done so since Nov.
