The Notre Dame Fighting Irish announced their non-conference basketball schedule on Wednesday. The Irish actually start the regular season on the road in ACC play against the North Carolina Tar Heels, and then play six non-conference games in a row inside Purcell Pavillion.
Notre Dame has that ACC / Big 10 Challenge game against the Maryland Terrapins after the big home stand. They will then get a couple of their tougher non-ACC games when the UCLA Bruins come to South Bend, and when they take on the Indiana Hoosiers in the Crossroads Challenge in Indianapolis.
