After an up and down 2019-2020 regular season, the Notre Dame basketball team was starting to gain momentum and was looking to make a ‘Cinderella’ run in the ACC tournament.
The Irish defeated Boston College Wednesday night, 80-58, and looked very good doing so. The offense was in rhythm, with five players in double figures on the night (TJ Gibbs, Dane Goodwin, Prentiss Hubb, Nate Laszewski, Juwan Durham).
While ACC All-first teamer John Mooney struggled on the night with just eight points and 11 rebounds, he did enough to secure the win for his team and help it move on to the next round.
